I COULD OF SWORN I WOULD GET HELP HERE BUT THANKS FOR THAT FOR THAT "WELCOME FEELING" I GET FROM U ALL BUT I'LL JUST GO SOMEWHERE ELSE
People here are glad to help, generally, as long as you can help us out in your post.
First of all, why not just post a single post titled "Some questions" or something of that nature, rather than posting three consecutive posts, each asking one question.
Furthermore, although you did get a couple of smartass replies, other people did answer questions thoughtfully. Ignore the jerks, appreciate those who responded as you requested.
It is also not good to use all caps. It is a way of indicating that you think that your post is somehow more important than any of the other posts on the page. That is generally perceived as rude and egocentric. Many people of these forums (including me generally) ignore all caps posts.
The same is true for posting questions with subject lines like "Very Important" or "Read This". This is a very active forum. People will read your post and reply if they feel they can help.
So, if you had posted all your questions in one post and used the shift key appropriately, you would have received useful replies without the smart ass ones.
Don't leave angry. I think if you give these forums a chance, you can learn a tremendous amount from the experienced people here.

When you ask for advice and do the opposite of what the advice is , it makes people fell that you truly don't care about advice and your going to do it your way anyways. Just about every retile from petco is wild caught ( WC ) and housed in poor conditions with no quarentine time. Feeding frozen thawed mice is the safest , easiest , and best way to raise your king. I also appoligize for my SMARTASS reply to your shedding question. You should watch it shed though it is a neat process. There is also a book for about 6 to 8 buck about kings you should go buy that and read it through. That book will answer many question and inform you about kings. If you read that book and need clerification on some thing you can post here and people will jump on the post to help you out. Once again i aploigize for my shedding remark but when you ask for help on here take what people say to you and use it. Paul
I fell outta my chair laughing at that "shedding" post. I just love that kind of sarcasm. I swear I laughed so hard I had tears running down my cheeks.
And I know, 4kingzeus probably brought alot of that on himself. But you can kind of tell he wants the best for his pet.
Thanks Paul for being big enough to admit your mistake. I'm guilty of it myself.
But that post was still funny as hell. Laughing Out Loud (really)

I did mean it for a laugh , but after i thought about it , i realized this guy might need some serious help. But hey we all need a good laugh every now and then. Paul
.......About sweeping generalizations, I mean. From the posts that I have read regarding Petco over the YEARS...I would suggest that your statements, particularly regarding their reptiles being almost exclusively wild-caught, are not entirely true. I have heard about which breeders supply Petco, and that some of them are actually producing quality animals. Again, it's the wc statement that I think is the MOST off-the-mark.
What I HAVE heard is that, while on average Petco is offering reptiles which have NOT been cared for as we would like to see, there is a great deal of variation from store to store, depending upon who is running it...Get my drift?
That said...I would personally NEVER buy from ANY pet store...Why would I when I can go to the All Ohio Reptile Show every month and have a good friend who is a breeder and would practically GIVE me a baby snake if I was interested in it???
I am NOT a supporter of Petco, or any other pet store, but I do feel that some of your statements were sweeping and misleading.

The petco by me has all wc but there Leopard geckoes. There so called curator (lol) even said its all wc except for the leos. When you see multiple snake regurges in the same enclosure of overcrowded 100 dollor normal balls something is wrong. I have tried to talk to them but they don't care " they sell and we hardly get complaints about out animals" that made me sick. Paul
That IS disgusting, indeed. The fact that they still import balls when they are bred so frequently also nauseates me. My friend breeds balls and really feels the sting of the "dirt cheap" wc market.
Just pointing out that there is a range of quality in these stores, and that many of them actually DO carry cb snakes. Again, I don't support the chain at all. I have heard much more bad than good. Duffy
Thanks for the insight.
