when should I start feeding rabbit???

darcy Apr 22, 2005 12:51 AM

hello.
I'm curious I've been feeding my little Daylynne rat's since I fist got him and now at 6feet he's eating up to 4 medium rat's a week. I am sure that He could handle small rabbits and I have a steady supply but I was unsure weather I should wait a bit longer before switching. He has eaten baby bunny's before but they were the size of a small rat. If I switch him to rabbits soon would it be safe to assume that 1 every 2 weeks would be enough (I mean give or take a day for thawing). any input would be great and please not I don't feed any of my reptiles live prey
If They won't take fresh killed then I find a better solution.
thanks in advance.

If he can get one down feed it now...there is no reason to wait
