I am expecting my first litter of boas from my females first delivery. After she delivers what do I do to get her to return to normal weight? Do I feed jumbo rats immediately or should I wait and/or go with smaller food? Should I feed more often than normal?

Thanks,
Dan

We usually offer our females food within a day after they give birth. Most often they are starving, and that helps us to know that they are ok after the pregnancy and birthing process. If you feel more comfortable offering something smaller than she would normally eat initially, that's fine but I don't think you have to do it that way. You know your boa, and will be able to feel out the situation based on her behavior in terms of frequency of feedings.
