Question about normal boa turning pink

autumnsnake Apr 22, 2005 07:08 AM

I have Red tail boa male that is around a year old now. When I got him he looked normal, but ever since his first shed he has been turning more pink.
Is it possible that he is a morph or a het, or is he just a pretty normal? I have enclosed a pic, but in it he is a little darker than normal.
Thanks all!

Normal boas do develop varying degrees of color as they mature. It sounds like you are lucky enough to have one that is on the more colorful end of the spectrum!
