Hey , I believe a bunch of years back...maybe 3 or 4, Brian Sharp paid like $50,000. for a Albino Suri. That was after it origionally sold the first year for $80,000. I have no documented proof about this but I think I remember this was the way it went. Brian Sharp is now breeding Albino Suriname. Andy

It would seem that pure suri albino hets exist by now, though they are likely all being kept by their repsective breeders. Search the older forums. You will find some info.

That DVD would be about the same time frame. That could be the same one. Great catch. Andy

AskTracy: BCCFan What are your future plans for the albino Surinam

TracyBarker: to breed it to the most incredible striped suriname on the planet!

TracyBarker: It has never been bred and went to several countries before it came here-it is a small and dear snake, but it had some rough days along the way.

The barkers have one and Will Slough has the other one. Those are the only two I know of. I'm pretty sure Brian Sharp doesn't have one. If he did, why would he be doing the crosses?

Will Slough and the barkers each have one. Brian Sharp only has crosses. I have heard a guy in Europe has one too, but I don't know about that. Getting those suckers to breed is another story. As far as I know, there are not any offspring to date.

Hopefully they get some hets soon, I think that is the one of the few morphs I would get into. Just think, basins peaks but albino. I probably will not be able to afford the $20k price tag they may have on them unless they sell them for cheaper.
