Identification with TAD and TOAD. (pics) ny state

Wanted to know what kind of tad this MAY be? I just needed a second opinion because Ive never seen a rana clamitans melanonta/catesbeiana tad look like this. Just caught the other day in a perm. pond. and yes this tad is BIG. caught in NY state.

While Im asking, is this a american toad? bufo americanus? making sure its not a fowleri/spadefoot.


sorry to sound dumb, but im new to id-ing frogs/toads.

Well the toad is not a spadefoot, but it don't look liek the common american toad to me either. And as for the tadpole I have no clue.

it looks like the common american toad to me. As for the tad it looks like eaither a rana catesbeiana or an american bull frog to me.
