Is this Normal?? Please advice, newbie here.

I just recently bought a beautiful 6 month old bp a couple weeks ago. What im concerned is that when i handle it at some part of its
belly it feels wierd. I dont know how to explain it, but at some places it feels like some small spikes are poking out. i cant really see it but i feel it, in it only feels poky if you rub it at a certain angle. Is this normal, or is something wrong??

...sounds like your BP has a couple "tweaked" belly scutes, ie the outer keratin layer of the scale may have lifted and bent, forming your 'spikes'...nothing to worry about...they'll be repaired in the next shed...
