Can ball pythons have another clutch after already having one???

erikstrait Apr 23, 2005 12:36 AM

My ball python recently laid 6 fertile eggs at a friends house since she was on a breeding loan. I got her back and she has eaten 4 medium rats(she hasn't eaten in a week) and she has been coiling under her water bowl which is what she always does. BUT she has NEVER laid on her side is the 7 Years that I have owned her(since she was a baby). Is there a possibility that she will lay again or did she forget that she already laid her eggs?? She is also looking "grey-ish" like she is getting ready to shed again.

Oh-well here is a picture of her when I took the water bowl off of her. ANY input on this would be very nice! Thanks Erik

I don't think it is possible...She is probably jsut full of rats and used to laying in that position after being prego. Pretty girl, good luck with whatever is coming from the eggs.
