Alyssa-
Breeding loans or not uncommon if you have something spectacular that other people are intrested in breeding, Steve and I have never done a breeding loan with anyone outside of our group of close friends, and to be honest if i didnt know the person well i wouldnt dream of a loan. A lot of it depends on what you have to breed, the sex (since lets be honest females are worth more than males), and who you know that has what you would like to breed it with... there are several ways to go about it but i would think the best way is to email/meet the person you are interested in swapping with and talking to them about the particulars. I am very particular about my snakes and would want to ensure that they get the same care somewhere else as they get in my house and vica versa. I would start doing some research.... thats my suggestion
Sincerely,

I have a female hogg island... do you think it would be difficult finding someone willing to loan me a male? If it's going to be too much hassle, I may just wait a couple years until I have the space to house a male myself...
