How many in 20 Gal. Tank?

howitser Apr 23, 2005 09:17 AM

How many cresteds can (or should) I keep in a 20 gallon tank? I've got 2 now, and was thinking about getting one more female. Would this overload the tank, or can they all get along in that space?

Thanks,

Howard

Personally, I would only keep one in a 20 gallon tall enclosure. I have heard of people putting two in this size, I just think thats a bit tight, so if you do provide plenty of hides and climbing areas.

3 would overload

3 would overload it, 2 would be the max each single adult needs a tank 12"lx 12"wx 18"h
