Now i just need mom to unwind from around them so i can get them out. I can see 5 but i'm pretty sure there might be 1 or 2 more buried. I have some food defrosting for mom , should i feed her till she won't eat anymore or just give her a small meal. Thanks guys and gals Paul

Congrats, disturb her as little as possible until you're 100% certain there's no more eggs in her. When she is done, offer her some food. Do not be surprised if she eats like a pig or shows no interest. I offer mine a few mice after the female lays, others may disagree on the amount but I prefer to give them at least 3 large mice. If this is your first time removing a female off the eggs she will make a fuss and flinch quite hard attempting to push you off of her. She may start rolling eggs around so try and lift her off the clutch in one fast swoop. The eggs may look fragile, but they're quite tough. I find if you sneak in and try and remove them gently it usually amounts to more of a project when it seems best to lift the snake completely out of the way, and then get all the eggs. Good luck and congrats again Tom Stevens

i removed her out of the nest box and collected the clump of eggs there are 7 of them. They have kind of a yellowish tint to them with what looks like watermarks on spots is that normal? Also these things are huge , there almost as big as a chicken egg ( much bigger that i expected). Mom did refuse food this morning but i did move her around and remove her eggs so i will try again tonite. She actually help weight pretty good , i haven't weighted her don't want to mess with her too much for a day or so. Still trying to get this hovabator to stabilize but my house is at 80 right now with the ac on lol. Thanks and wish me luck at hatching , i've never hatched an egg before. thanks Paul

i usually start small meals like feeding any starving creature(!!) and then build back up to the usual cycle.
