Hello. I was wondering if female tegus ovulate when they are most able to become gravid. I know that red tail boas can only become pregnant during ovulation, and they will swell up. I'm still trying to breed my 2 blues and I was totally sure that she was gravid because she had swelled up big time, had become lathargec, made a tunnell and hardly ever came out of it, and went off feeding for about a month. Now she is still very round but she is eatting and running around. I didn't know if tegus swell up when they are able to become gravid or not. Anyone know?? thanx!
