zacksturbaum Apr 23, 2005 07:53 PM

Went to some mountains in the afternoon, hunted between hours of 1:00 and 5:00 pm.
On the way up, found 4, 4' gophers DOR and 1 smaller one DOR. Then found a 3' Nor. Pac Rattle AOR:

Than at first stop, found this 14" - 15" elgeria and 10" zonata in the same crack and managed to get both out for pics:

At another spot found this ensatina under a rock while looking for ringneck snakes:

Then found this ringneck snake under a rock at another spot:

At the last stop, 3 zonata, 1 gophersnake, 1 sierran gartersnake.
This gophersnake was under a flat rock at the edge of a boulder with a crack running down the middle of it:

This zonata was uner a rock with a small sierra gartersnake:

day's totals:

zonata 4
gopher 1, 5 DOR
N. P. rattle 1 AOR
ringneck 1
