Pretty pathetic and neglectful! The issue has always been and discussed about "knowing" how the animal is housed, prior to purchasing. The sad truth is many herps can be taken out and placed on a nice/colorful towel or sheet and have their photo taken to look special.....though their housing is filfthy.
I posted a potential monitor I maybe looking into below (orante or nile?) housed on carpet.....how many niles have been ripped out from this stuff???????

they look much better in person... The photos don't give them any justice...hahaha.... Yeah, that female sure loooks like she's in terrible shape..And those are some filthy conditions... Looks like dried up catfood sitting on the bottom there too..
