I stopped back in yesterday to give them the food chart i printed off for them. Also wanted to check the substrate cause i forgot to look at that. Sure enough they were using the shredded bark stuff. So i tried to explain why we shouldnt use that, can cause impaction etc. Hope they will listen. Anyway the funny part is, they tried to "sell" him to me again. I couldnt resist, had to tell them "well guys you can go online and find many iguanas that need adopting and its free". Think that might have irked them a bit. BUt well its true. So i had to ask what they were asking for him. Ok you would not believe this, they want $500 for him. No kidding i started laughing when he said that. Then he told me the deal is they want to keep him like as a store pet, so thats why they jacked the price up so high. But i did get a good laugh. But i will be going back in to see if they make some changes. This guy is in great shape and i would hate to see this pet shop screw things up ya know. I mean i think they have good intentions, just not alot of knowledge on iguanas. Well just wanted to share that with you guys. Thought you might get a good laugh on his price tag. Tami

Thanks, for the update hope they fix the substrate; though thats really funny though $500 for an iguana (maybe for a figi crested iguana LOL )
