rubbermaid containers

geckoguy_ottawa Jul 10, 2003 09:58 PM

Hi guys,
I'm building a rack system for my leos and was wondering if anybody knew the model # and the size of the rubbermaid containers I should be using. I want containers for adult breeders and some for hatchlings.
Thanks

I am using a 12qt for adults, and a 6 qt(i think) for younger leos.

I followed Rob Jenkin's instructions and I am using Runnermiad container #2220 & 2221.

...16 & 17 quarts for my shoe boxes for all my adults and hatchlings. I dont have the kind of room to have a small rack for babies and then transfer them over to a bigger box as they get older. They grow up real fast. When they are a month old they are big enough for a 16 or 17 quart box.

Some breeders have the room to do that, but I dont. I keep adults housed singly in a box unless its a small colony that I will keep in a bigger sweaterbox. With the hatchlings I keep the clutchmates together and make sure they are both getting enough food and eating and growing properally. I wish I could keep all the babies housed seperately but then again, like I said, I dont have the room. Maybe someday though when I get more room.
