I have learned this year , that when you are in the business of keeping and breeding Ball pythons , it is more important to feed an animal what THEY want to eat rather than what YOU prefer to feed them . I had this situation with a couple of breeder females this year , they only want live....Bottom line is Optimum Health is more important then convenience . Just don't leave a live animal alone int the cage , keep a heads up . But food response is almost instant with live , would you want a cold burger or a piping hot burger ?Good luck ,

Shouldn't your analogy read: a piping hot burger, or a few bites of a live cow, 'cause I can get my f/t just as warm or warmer than a live item, but I certainly can't bring them back to life. I've got too much time of my hands today...
