These are my HS cages. They are 96x30x24 with radiant heat panels, dividers and misting system. Shipping them from Des Moines, IA to Fairbanks, Alaska was quite expensive. I'm wanting to commission someone locally to build similar cages to save on shipping. I found a guy who works at a sign shop, has the tools and 1/4" 8'x4' black Sintra sheeting, and is willing to build them. What he needs, however, is a DETAILED and SPECIFIC plan to build a 96x30x18 cage with a divider.
I know some of you have experience building plastic cages. Please email me (klank4d@gci.net) a very detailed plan on how you would replicate a HS cage. The cage(s) will house a burm, retic, or green anaconda so what type of framing material would be used? 1" hollow square tubing? I know the HS caging is double-walled on the floor, sides and top. Again, the OD of the cage is 96x30x18. The guy to build it is accustomed to working with plastic but has never done anything like this.
Many, many thanks to the one(s) who respond to this request!
