What is a good SAFE substrate to use in a big iguana cage?

In Ozzy's cage i put down tiles, and then put newspaper over them. Cleanup is very easy this way. Some people use indoor outdoor carpet, but its kind of a pain to clean from what i have heard others say. I just got some cheap wood look tiles, the ones with the adhesive on the back. Real easy to install and clean up. Hope that helps. Tami

I've been using Kaytee Lizard Litter...it's made from alfalfa so it is safe if the ig ingests some. I just scoop out the waste.
