was going to ask that same question, the eye doesn't look like it's on the head properly or something.

It looks weird because it is a pic of just the eye turret. It looks like he's been up all night. It would be great if you post a large pic that would be an awesome background for my comp.

what size would you like? 1024x768? i can post something later on when i get home.

it is not photoshopped.... you actually don't even see where the turret is attached to the head on this image...

Very nice photo and very nice camera! I use a canon eos digital rebel with their 100mm macro and a MT-24EX macro twin lite. Haven't tried any extremely close shots like that though. Very nice.

i've seen on the chameleonnews page that you are a canon user as well
as you can see in the eye i am using a ringlight, the canon mr-14 ex.

i really like to do extreme closeups. usually it shows a really new point of view.

I really like the canons, great cameras. The camera in that chamnews photo is actually my 35mm SLR (an EOS 50E/Ellan 2E). I go back and forth between my digital and my 35mm. I'd love to see more of your closeups. I'll definately have to play with that type of shot some time.
