caught with my pants down............ again.........

Is anyone else here an eternal procrastinator???

I never finished my new incubator, so I had to use the Hovabators again this year.

Now I never built the new baby rack (I've had the materials for a few weeks).

I was planning on eggs piping later this week, so I was going to build tomorrow.

New plans............

My first baby of 2005

I took the day off to build and set up the new rack today instead.
I’ll post some pics in a few days when they’re all out.

I have had material for hatchling racks for over 6 months. I keep telling myself that I'll wait to build until the first eggs are laid - which is tomorrow, BTW. Guess what I'll be doing this weekend. Yep - building two, 20 bin racks for 40 hatchlings.

I'll also be building a new incubator as well. Our work is never done! LOL

I did the same thing with my incubator.
Had the materials 6 months in advance, waited till the first ovulation, then waited some more.............

good thing the hovabators are still around. LOL

good luck with your eggs tomorrow. hope you build your new toys in time.

I never learn.............
I'm in my late 30's so guess I wont change in this lifetime.

the rack is done now though. just got to wire up another Ranco, and pick up a few more shoe boxes.

Gah ! So i'm doomed then huh...lol
(early 30's here)

I'm doing alright with the ball racks but my rat barn is downright pathetic. One small rack in a small storage building that could produce 500 a month...sigh...

Note: This reply in itself is procratination :P

I'm glad I'm not the only one. LOL

I kept too may offspring last year, so I converted all my hatchling racks to juvie/adult racks.

I swore I would build new ones.......

In your 30's, I'm no expert, but join the club you verilent procrastinator.

I kicked butt today though, I built a 40plus bin hatchling rack, and it's up to temps now.

I never made it get more shoe boxes, but I have enough for the first 4 clutches, I got time..........

good luck with your rat extravaganga.

get out there and set it up. LOL

pretty old now. Good thing she does not read the forum. Yeah, as I get older, I just want to relax but it just seems like theirs more to do. I'm going to have to get the racks and incubator done. This year at Daytona though, I'm going to pick a rack or two.

Hey, you're only old as you feel. And right now, I feel pretty damn old. But I guess that's what teenagers will do to you. LOL
