uv light and colors?

although it seems that most people in here seem to think that chondros benifit little or not at all from full spec lighting, but what do you guys think about how it effects their coloring?i have kept several species of reptile and when most are exposed to uv light, their colors explode.even with bland colored animals.i once had a savanna monitor.he was the typical light brown color.but when he was put under uv light for a few days his color really looked 100 percent better.im not saying he turned blue or anything, but his brown looked a lot brighter and he started getting a circle pattern in several shades of brown on his back.he even started getting some maroon coloring also.anyway, has anyone noticed a color change with their gtp when exposed to uv?
