Hi Joel,
Manati Park is on the East End, logistially hard to get to if you visit the main cyclura areas -- on the West end of the DR. The pics from Manati Park were taken from a trip last April while taking a caribbean vacation at a resort in Punta Cana --not a herping trip like last November. If you are considering seeing both species of cyclura the areas to the west are best. I believe Jan Ramer of the Indy Zoo will be doing some more Ricordi survey work there next November. They would probably like some volunteers. Her report on vitamin D status of wild and captive ricordi and rhino iguanas is soon to be published in the Journal of Zoo and Wildlife Medicine.

I believe that trip is back to lago Enriquio -- should be good ! I am heading back to work - Enjoy therest of spring. I will look forward to reading your posts from the middle east in about 30 days.
