The bidding will start at $$200, just kidding. Man that is a beautiful gecko. Never seen a crested like that, is it mixed with something else? I wonder what the name for that will be? Anyways that is an awesome animal, that one you better hold on to, can't wait to see what that one grows up to be!

ciliatus X chahoua. it looks sweet btw
i dunno what else to guess other than what andrew guessed. doesn't look too much like a auric, or a sara....
ciliatus X chahoua gets my vote too.. awesome pics too!
If it is a cross, id be very interested to know which characteristcs they adopt in terms of personality.
Can Chahoua regrow their tails by the way?
agreed....ciliatus x chahoua
very nice colors, i was thinking it looked like a really unique crested at first, with the pattern and all, then i noticed the lack of crests, is there even any crest around the eyes?
There is a tiny ridge around his eyes that has tiny little spikes on it......I don't know if pure chahoua normally do.
John
YEAH you're all correct.......I am very excited to see how it will turn out because right now it just has its baby colors. I was wondering how many people have these.....are they still uncommon???? Because there was another post of one a couple weeks ago.
John
where do you get it from?
awesome looking animal. strange , but still cool. I hope that what has happened to boa morphs will not happen to rhac morphs , cuz in my opinion , were ruining an already small gene pool ( look at all the mysterious genetic defects that are popping up from supposed unrelated breedings of cresteds) Im sure any one would agree , its georgious , but my ethical sense kinda over rules that feeling. i dont mean to start anything or be offensive, just saying my .02 cents....

hybrids are a bit different issue than the small gene pool one, because a small gene pool of crested will not be "negatively" affected in the sense of out breeding. aka you strengthen the genetic diversity. but as u are staing with the boas you DO lose the "pure" aspect. i personally love the potential for genetics and diversity that crossing species allows, but i also appreciate the pure species as well. i do not think that we will have a problem with maintaining pure sectors of the genus, so i think it will be ok for people to produce hybrids w/o interfering with the main gene pool.
lol thats my two cents. hope this makes sense!

I've adult sized. Outrageous colors!! They were really really cool looking animals.
