I was wondering how you feed them to her. And how big should he be before I try to feed him fruit?

Hi Nez,
how is your little one doing? Luna likes things that are red. I simply place a small piece (size appropriate - not biggeer than width of head) on the end of a wood skewer and (if she is eating that day) she will readily take it right off. When I was first getting her used to fruits and veggies I placed 1/4'rd cherry tomatoes on the leaf juncture of her schefflera and she would take them. If he doesn't take it right away you can try sqeezing a little juice on his snout from the fruit and he will associate the two. The advantage that I have with Luna is that she has that little space always open so I just dibble it in and she licks.
Keep in mind that chams will often not take fruit and veggies until thay are older so donlt get discouraged if he doesn't take it, just ry in a month or so.
good luck!

Hes doing great he shed again today. That his third time since I have had him. I want to start feeding him other things than crickets. Hes not getting bored with them I am. Any suggestions? I tried wax worms but he puked them up.
Thanks
Nez
wax worms are high in fat and may have been a bit too rich for him (or too big??) Silkworms would be a good change but don't get a whole lot right off the bat in case he tires of them. silkwormfarm.com sell small "trial" sizes and he usually ships for free on Fridays

What size should I get? The sub adults or the smaller ones?
Thanks alot for telling me about them. I looked them up and they are located about 45 min from my house. So shipping should be super fast.
Thanks again lele

Generally no longer than the width between his eyes. Since these are soft a little bigger is OK. Keep in mind that you need to feed them chow, which you can get from them, too. The powder is most economical and will keep for a long time in the fridge unprepared. Joe is great, maybe you could go visit his facility sometime - though I am not sure if it is open to the public or not.
His site has a forum, too. There are other suppliers, but considering your location he's the guy! He usually has free ship Fridays so check out the site. How old is your guy? The silkies grow fast so I would probably go with the juvi's. It is up to you, but I would only get about 25 to see if he will eat them. If you get 100 you may end up with your own silkworm farm! lol!
here is an article I did on rearing them. feel free to ask me any questions you may have...
