Hi - thanks for checking in. She is not doing well. Her hydration is really an issue and I do not understand why. her eyes are sinking despite her showers, dripper, humidifier. I am actually thinking of putting her in a 20gal tank (she is going to HATE me) for a while but am afraid of the stress it may cause her. Damned if I do, damned if I don't. Waiting to here back from Dr. G about giving sub-q fluids, but I am afraid that is what the fluid retention problem was before. Her MBD does not seem better either, but she did not hang from branches today like she has been doing. I am at a loss, weary and broke. I just don't know what to do next. She is down to 104g which "normally" would be OK but her weight gain and loss has been so rapid it has got to be taking its toll. IO sure hope the clutch she is developing takes a while b/c I do not think she will have the strength or health to get thru it. I do feel that if I could get her hydration set other things would be better but I just don't know.

sorry to be such a downer that's in part why I haven't been posting about her...

she ate a few crickets on her own which was a good sign so I had stopped it. I did finally get her to take some today and will move her into a tank tomorrow.

How's your new beardie? Is he eating like a good boy???? My guy is great - I named him Darwin

Sorry to hear that Hopefully the Doc. gets back to you soon. It's hard to see them suffer. Chloe got real week too, so I set her in a 20 gallon with a towel on the bottom and lots of fake leaves and branches close to the ground so she would feel like she was still in the jungle, but I wouldn't have to worry about her falling and hurting herself. Hang in, things will work themselves out.

Thanks, I hope so. I think I will move her tomorrow, the stress can't be anymore than what she has been going thru and I would like to avoid another trip to the vet right away. As it is, we have agreed to monitor her Ca level for treatment.

I hate to read shes not having a good time of it. I sure hope and pray things can change for her, quickly.

And YOU too as I know this is driving ya nuts!
