honduran size difference

sutorherp1 Apr 25, 2005 06:57 PM

Hey; I have an adult male albino tricolor honduran who I would like to breed to one of my females, a normal tricolor. I donot doubt her breeding capabilities, she is quite fat and about 4' long. The problem I am seeing is that my male is almost 5'; he is becoming increasingly active due to the increase in temperature. I've asked a few pro's at expos and the answer was mostly "try it and take her out if you get a negative responce." If he is showing positive signs of activity for mating season, should I be worried that he'd kill or eat her? Thanks,
-Sean

I don't think he would eat her. Put them together and observe them for a few minutes. If she is trying to flee then she is not ready. Otherwise they will probably hook up.
