from my below post my bd is sick with parsites he got treated to day at like 4 and is skinny can i take my

rep-cal phosphorus-free calium with vit. d3 ultra fine powder and mix it with water and give him that like spray him bc he loves drinking from a spray bottle

or can i use like the old repto cal by tetra fauna(blue and yellow bottle(yellow top)

mixed with water and spray that into his mouth so he can get some cal that way

and if anyone has done this tell me how much to use like water to powder ratio

funny you should post that as I had that very conversation with my vet today (chameleon with calcium issues). As he pointed out, it does not dissolve well and as for amount no more than he would get with dusted crickets.

BUT...before doing that, I would ask the vet about it. If he feels he needs calcium he may opt to give him an injection (only about $15) instead.
