Dented egg question

momtowildones Apr 25, 2005 08:56 PM

I had the first of two in a clutch hatch 3 days ago. Today I checked on the second egg and it is all dented in. Is this normal before it hatches? Should I do something or have I lost the egg? Please advise.

Thanks,
Suzanne

It's perfectly normal for the eggs to be dented before they hatch. It just means the leo is starting to absorb the yolk sack and is ready to hatch out.
