Went down to Sarita this afternoon, saw:
1 DOR bull snake (Pituophis catenifer sayi)
1 DOR checkered garter snake (Thamnophis marcianus)
1 AOR checkerd garter snake (Thamnophis marcianus)
1 AOR slender glass lizard (Ophisaurus attenuatus attenuatus)

sorry no pics

also, dorve over to hebronville last night and saw one AOR western diamondback rattlesnake (Crotalus atrox)

Hey, Mike, did the same drive, same day, saw the same DOR bullsnake, was it just outside Rivera? Thought more would be out but saw exactly what you did.

this was monday afternoon, the dor bull was just on the north side of sarita, on the south bound side. the dor garter was one the north bound lane near the bull.
it was my first time seeing a slender glass lizard, very cool i must say.

about 30 years ago, hunting not only for herps but the night blooming very large cereus cactus and seeing the huge trans-potted agaves ( by birds > ? )in the coastal area. And oh, the SEED TICKS that i came back with, thousands on my person ! LOL !
