Thanks yes she does sorta have that look with the fadeing up her sides,its really hard to capture her colors with a camera looks way better in person.

I hatched this little male pastel on 4-10-05. It was from a Bell Pastel to a Labby looking female. Here is the 2005 baby pastel male.

Now here is the mother..The kool thing is she laid 8 eggs but only 4 were good and from that 4 she had 3 pastels and 1 normal. the Sex ratio was 1.3 with this little guy being the only male.

I've never been able to get a great pic of this guy...
Yours looked similar. I was really hoping to get a
clutch or two from him this season to start the long
process of figuring out genetics (...very possible that
he is just a unique looking normal!).

This new one went live about 2 weeks ago. The old one was a quick and dirty placeholder until this one was finished. I'm going to add some more stuff but I'm not sure when.

I love the Lab look.........thanks for sharing. It would be awesome to see a couple offspring like Mom. Man....that's what makes Ballin so fun.....the possibilities of what could be.

Let me know what you think of this male. I picked him up to
go with a female that looks almost identical. Hopefully,
I can get them to reproduce next season.
