That Columbia county Eastern really has a lot of Blue/black and nice white. From cruising the EKRS I kind of got the impression that the Easterns got browner and less distinct white the further south you went.Live and learn. Thanks for showing the pics

Its for sure not as black as it looks. When I use the flash it has a tendancy to make the blacks or browns darker. They are for sure more black than brown but not as indigo black as it looks. Ive found the Kings from the SE get browner with age so Im sure the ground color will lighten.

So you think as a general rule its safe to figure as you go north they are more likely to be indigo black and whiter? ( I'm sure as with most things there are exceptions)

Keith Hillson Apr 26, 2005 06:21 PM

Yes the further you go north the more the tendancy for blacker animals.

Because it would be to easy to prove you wrong Keith

Besides I am mellowing with age

Keith Hillson Apr 26, 2005 03:18 PM

Not starting a riot or anything its just that last week someone posted Brooksi rule and I just wanted to make sure it didnt go unanswered Plus I know if you didnt live in GA you would do away with all those Floridana and invest in a Eastern King farm lol.
