Chris you seem to be offended by the bunny. Don't be its just a bunny.... with a pancake on its head.
If you want a serious response OK fine but remember you posted a fish post on a kingsnake forum. Now for serious queastions. I am assumeing that all the fish are of the same spieces and geographic location right? I ask because I am told that there are something like 400 or 4,000 differant spieces of cichlid. And to compond the situation I am also told that there is variation in the Sp by location. So to move on are the females from the same brood?? Are they full sisters? Do you have that much info if someone else produced them? Where they ever housed with any other male?? Is there more than one kind of albinism for them. Is the trait simple recessive, multi recessive, complex recessive (I think I made that one up)
? Does anybody know how it functions. Is the red you mention a genetic morph or is it a descriptive name for the fish? In other words I don't know anything about fish breeding or their traits so I need more info to relate what I do know from snakes to this situation. Otherwise I have no idea what you are talking about. If you said this happened to your snakes I would have known something at least.
I am not trying to be a smarta$$ this time and do want answers to my queastions. I have a guy at work that would also like a list of your available fish. You are the guy based in Miami that I met in Deerfield right?? If so email me a stock list if you could.
Thanks Jason
