A Classic and Beautiful Eastern

Keith Hillson Apr 26, 2005 06:16 PM

To me the northern type Easterns display the classic patterns that people think of when they think of an Eastern King. What makes a classic is high chains that are thin and white or cream. Dont get me wrong I love the Southern Easterns but my first love is an Eastern that looks like this liitle beauty.

One reason I have not taken the eastern plunge is because I have yet to find the king I want. That one is it! Perfect chain pattern with creamy thin bands. Man, gotta love those eastern coast Getulas!

I like when the chain is on the back AND the sides. That's a nice one Keith Tom Stevens

Same as Matt for me. The reason I don't have any now is I haven't been able to find any I really liked. I've kept an eye out at shows for a while now.

I once had a 3' Eastern king I'd bought from a petshop when I was a kid. Dog tame and the shiniest blue/black with bleached white thin to med. bands. Someone had found it out sunning by the pine barrens in N.J. in october. Got rid of it when I was downsizing. Regret it to this day. I've judged all others I've seen in person against that one.

with any luck though, maybe this year.

Maybe not as nice as the NJ you once had but here is my grand old male Monmouth Co., NJ and one of his sons from a Burlington Co., female. I really like the NJ's but nobody ahs them and I simply lucked into mine and it cost me a trip to Canada fro the big male who is over 20 years old !

Haven't seen another quite like it for a LONG time. If you ever want to part with one let me know!

Hey....Don't you have WAY too many snakes. Wouldn't life be easier without so many snakes to take care of....You know you always wanted (insert item) think of the money you'd save without the food bill to finally get it. Downsizing isn't a dirty word...... LOL..

Nice pics,Thanks,

Bob
