as far as color goes Tonkas got yellow coloration to teh front of his/her front legs and 3-4 yellow spots on his head strait back from his eyes. its hard to see whats on the sell but it looks like speckles on top and each scale(scute?) in the side apears to have one spot with lines comeing away from it. all the spots and stripes look yellow

www.enature.com is a very good site when trying to ID a turtle. Good luck and let us know what he is.

1. plastron-( bottom shell ) males:concave ( curved inward )
2. tail length-males:longer/thicker
3. front claws-males:longer
4. rear claws-males:may have the inside claw curved inward
5. carapace-( top shell ):males flatter & more oblong/females:
more domed( rounded )
6. vent-(anus) females:farther under the tail

a couple pictures with good natural lighting, showing side profile and bottom view from the rear, would help to assist your guess.
