Thanks to all the calls and emails the commission today instructed Director Austin to form a working group with PA herpers to resolve the problems with the new proposed regulations. This is the best outcome we could have anticipated at this stage in the process. I was told by three PAFB staff that this is the biggest response they have ever had to a proposal this early in the process. It is all of you that made the difference.
I would appreciate it if calls to the commission would stop for the time being. Once the proposed regs are published in the PA bulletin there will be a specific place to send both snail mail and email. It will be most productive if we concentrate our efforts then.
