The books I have and websites I've been to don't seem to have too many pics of adult Biaks. Seen plenty of juvi pics and those which are in the transitional phase but would appreciate seeing more pics of classic adults. Thanks.--------RON

Don't mean to take anything away from those who post juvi pics. I enjoy seeing them all, however, I just picked up a new juvi myself and I'm trying to get a handle on what to expect when the color change is complete. I know that there's quite a bit of variability within a single locale but the more pics I can see the better idea I'll get. Thanks again.
Here ya go Ron. Here's a 5 year old adult male I have. He was a red baby. When choosing a baby biak, I would buy red hatchlings. Most high yellow biaks I've seen were red as babies.

Brandon, thanks a lot for posting that pic and for that info about red babies being more likely to result in high yellow adults - I didn't know that. As it turns out, the baby I just bought is red with a ton of white. I'm hoping for a lot of yellow. If mine turns out anything like yours I'd be stoked. That's a real beaty you have there. I also have a high white male Aru and a beatiful female of unknown locale which I bought as babies back in '98. They bred for me in '01 and '03 but for the last couple of years I've been more into high end true redtail boas from Suriname and Brazil. So I go to my local reptile show the other day and there's a vendor there (who has a good rep) selling CBB baby Biak chondros for only $175. Can you believe that price! I couldn't resist so I grabbed one and brought it home. Wouldn't you know that it ate the first night I had it! Anyway, this whole think has rekindled my Chondro fire and I couldn't be happier. Hope I didn't bore you with my long post but I'm just feel like a kid again. Thanks again for your pic. Take care.--------RON
