A good boa for $350.....
You can find a hypo or an anery in that price range.

Boaphiles have many heating options to suit each users needs.
A Boaphile is better suited for a boa than a glass cage. They are easier to heat and MUCH easier to control humidity.

I am in PA, sorry but there are not many breeders of boa morphs in the state. Where do you live? There is a show in Butler on Sunday, and in Hamburg on Saturday. There are always out of state vendors to buy from.

I think it would be better to contact a big name breeder and get something great for your price range. You may also want to consider some various locales for variety, but Colombian Anerythristics and Hypomelanistics can be found for $350 if not under in the Anery's case. A reputable breeder will help you out with the care of your new pet and breeding if it ever comes to that.

Also, go with the boaphile. They offer under cage heat via flexwatt and in cage flexwatt and radiant heat panels. I buy the cages and hook up my own flexwatt or pro-products heat panels. I use the 421D with flourescent light and locks for my boas.

You could definatly pick up an adult male for $350. You may want to look into the various C.A. imperator. The typically stay small, some super tiny. I assume you are looking for a male due to the size factor. I bought a 5.5-6ft. male anery last year for $200, he was an '01 baby, and gorgeous.

$350 is not bad for a pink hypo, be careful who you buy from, and be sure you get what you want. Don't spring on the price, go for the animal. Great deals will always be out there, only take it if it fits you. I bought a Pastel BP male last year for $200 at a show, it was slow, and the guy just wanted to recoop his expense for the breeder, he had sold the male after breeding, and after I bought mine, his holdback ended up being free for him.

I have even bought poss super salmons for $250, granted they were nothing special, but one is killer!
Shop around, talk to people.

Personally Sonorans, Tarahumara Mt., Nicaraguan, Honduran, Hog Isle, Cay Caulker, and Cancun boas make great pets and all stay pretty small. Also, all are easily within your price range.
