Very SAD, I think I have lost most of Chenoa's eggs and don't

PHEve Apr 27, 2005 11:22 AM

really know why, except they looked fertile when layed, pink, but each day one will collapse , and shrivel.

All the other eggs in there, Kachinas, and Chias, look fine.

Sad, as I atleast would have liked to see a few make it. Now it appears she did die for nothing! Just stinks!

Guess maybe thats the way it was supposed to be. Maybe since she had such a bad time laying, something may have been wrong with them.

Nature seems to know better than ole Evey !

oh eve, that really sucks! but i know your pain. i really wanted that egg to make it after milly died last year. i guess the babies just want to be with their mommy. hopefully one will hang in there for you.

I'm sorry that you feel you're losing Chenoa's eggs, hang in there. I hope one survives.

I wonder if it was more than a coincidence. Maybe what made Chenoa sick also made the eggs die, too.
