Two-Tone Crested.

PHLdyPayne Apr 27, 2005 11:56 AM

Here are a couple more pictures of my two tone female crested gecko. She is a bright rusty red-orange on the sides when really fired up (not quite as evifident in the pic) with a more yellow-cream on the back. I am really impressed how this one turned out. She was pretty much a light orange/yellow sometimes with a more redish tinge when I first bought her.

She also have th ese three white/cream dots on her side, is this common? H aven't really seen it on other pictures of cresteds, curious if this is something to develop, like a reverse dalmation. I call her Miko.

ARRGGHH! I can never get these multi images to work....I think the kingsnake photo gallery links are just too long....

Anyway, here is the other side of the same gecko.

the rhac book refers to those as "bicolored" and i actually had a male that was the spitting image of your girl there. i ended up selling him to a friend though that was eager to get into breeding cresteds himself. he would actually sometimes get a really really bold red, such as when i offered fruit baby food or baby food/cgd mix.
