I had my dragon since August and hes about 14 inches. He hasn't shed his skin for 2 months! Is he fully grown? Can I use sand now? If so what kind and what other food items can I offer him? Thanks

How old is your dragon? Mine stopped growing around 18months. They still shed but it takes them awhile before they have to shed.
UUMMM IDK how old he is. I got him in August 2004 and he was about 6-7 inches long.
Well if it was only 6-7 inches it would have been around 6 weeks. Also you can put dragons on sand as young as 4 weeks. Just make sure it is a very fine grade sand and has been washed so its not dusty. I only use repti-sand and no other. I particularly don't like the calcium sands. Most average dragons only grow to 15 inches. So unless you know it has some german giant in its blood line it is probably a normal dragon. As for feeding it different food, what do you feed it already? I am a breeder and feed my adults a bunch of different insects. Such as crickets, silkworms, roachs, superworms, and waxworms. Plus there are many different things they can eat for there greens. www.beautifuldragons.com has a whole list of aproved veg. and fruits you can feed them. Hope that helped.
