Loofah at 3 weeks of age

Hi everyone. Thank you for all your replies, advices and lovely
pictures.
I am kind of suprised to hear that the "rise up posture"
is some kind of submissive behaviour. Beacuse if I see a monitor rise up all his legs, I will think he want to whip his tail. Does Rhino Iguana in the wild assume this kind of submissive posture too?
Today, my baby is shedding his skin. I helped him by gently
rubbing them off. He seems to enjoy that. Actually I have him
for six weeks now. For the first four weeks, I just sit in front of his cage about 30 minutes everyday without even trying to touch him. Slowly he got use to me and my movements. I tried
to put my hand in his cage by the end of fourth week(still no touching.) At the same time, I started to hand feeding him every other day. Finally I tried to touch him when he was eating. Now he let me pick him up at anytime without any problem. However, i still want to wait a couple more weeks before I take him out of his habitat. I will let you guys know how it goes. I just hope he will stay calm and nice as he
gets bigger.

Has anyone use Mega ray mercury vapour bulb? Right now I am
using a Powersun 160wt and a 24 inches Reptisun 10.0 from Zoomed. I have heard the UV output decrease a lot after the first few days. Any thought?
