I have a small orange sonoran ground snake that feeds primarily on centipedes. I have had some luck finding them under rocks but would like to start a colony. Any ideas on how they live and how they would keep?
Thanks
Travis

here is a pic

I don't have a clue how to breed them, but, i would suggest you either breed them or buy them... it's not safe to feed ur snake anything that you catch outside, especially near the home.
Many areas are treated with insecticides and weedkillers which are bad for your snake.
When i first started out, I once had a bearded dragon who died because i ignorantly fed him a cricket i found in my house. Turned out that it poisoned him. Will never make that mistake again. But it's ur call. Good luck with the breeding
that was my thoughts too. I would love to know where to buy them. None of the feeder suppliers sell them.
