Most Colorful Colubrids...

Doug89 Apr 27, 2005 07:30 PM

Hi, I have been trying to compile a list of some of the more interesting morphs of colubrid snakes. I want to start collecting the more colorful species and maybe breed them. I only have my eyes on a few so far. Green Bush Snake, Leucistic Texas Rat Snake (i already have a female), Speckled Racer, Mettallic Baird's Rat Snake, and Maybe a Coxi or Rhino Rat. Please post any names or info. or pics of snakes that i have listed or some of the ones you think ishould have. Thanks!

0.1.0 Leucistic Texas Rat Snake (Elaphe Obsoleta lindheimerii)
1.1.0 Sand Frogs (Breviceps rosei) [if i can convince my mom !]

Some of the tricolors, albino and normal, are pretty colorful snakes!

Tri-colors are loaded with beautiful choices. Check out the Mexican Milksnakes as well as Thayeri kings to name a few. Some of the Thayeri are just stunning.
