Had a few hours to kill this afternoon so I went to flip some A/C I layed out in a field several months ago in hopes that I could remove a few animals. Not a bad day!

This was the find of the day for me atleast!

Thought this was a rather attractive snake. What'ya think Brad ?
Enjoy

should have mentioned that this field is being heavily developed which is why I chose to remove the animals.

Awesome Holbrooki Scott. Those Houston specimens sure are yellow/orange. Are you breeding any this year or have you found a wild gravid female?????
I have an intergrade holbrooki/splendida (more splendida) female from Aransas Co., TX along with a pair of Nueces Co., TX specimens. I am working on some pics. The females were both bred to the Nueces Co. male. They are both extremely gravid.
I am working on some pics right now. I will post them in a bit.
Again....very nice finds. I even like the elusive calligaster....I say elusive because they are the only species of snake known to be in my region that I have never seen in the wild....Oh well, some day...

Yea I have a gravid high yellow speck at the moment. I posted a pic of her last year sometime. She was photod crawling along a fence. Those sure were nice integrades you posted. Good luck with your calligaster hunt.
