Offering food to recovered boa

tredding Apr 28, 2005 09:12 AM

Well we are over the respiratory infection and she just shed so I thought she might be hungry. I offered her a frozen rat last night. It was a little smaller than what shoud be her regular meal. She was not very interested. I guess I will wait a week and try again. Do you think it would be necessary to feed live as I have no clue as to what she used to eat?
Please give suggestions for an offering schedule.
Thank you
Travis

i would try f/t or fresh killed a few times before trying live. i would rather wait as long as the snake is not really thin than have to deal with feeding live.
