Uroplatus Book

Ptindy Apr 28, 2005 10:31 AM

The book:
Keeping and Breeding Leaf-tailed Geckos: The Genus 'Uroplatus' (Hardcover)
by Sascha Svatck (Author), Susanna van Duin (Author)

I have found on amazon.com, and ordered one but there are more for those interested. Just thought I'd share.

i got mine from ebay for half the normal price. i'd say look there first, although you arent guaranteed to win the bid if theres 10 others lookin for it.

Yea, but on ebay I would have to wait a lot longer, and also the hassle of checking and checking, i'd rather fork over the extra 25 bucks and get the thing on its way!

I got the book today and finished reading the whole thing cover to cover already.

Haha, that will be what I will do too! Was it worth the money? I'm guessing it is. Hopefully there are lots of pictures! I'm excited, but being in Canada the thing will take forever to arrive!

yes, definantly worth the money. answered a lot of questions i had and fills in a lot of information lacking everywhere else. it has a lot of pictures to (188 i think it said?) I thought it would be kind of out-a-date but the only thing out-a-date was cork barks were shown but still undescribed

well, theres other bits and pieces that are outdated, the first that comes to mind is the neck-biting during mating. we all know now that sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesnt.
