Female Grandis day geckos biting tails

burncycle Apr 28, 2005 12:20 PM

I have 2 female grandis day geckos and one male together in a tank. I have been having problems with the females biting the tail tips of the male and of each other. I tried taking one of the females out and the other female still does it. I think they think the tip is some kind of worm. Do you have any idea how to stop them from biting tails? Thanks

That's a very peculiar problem. Try asking the question in the Day Gecko subforum and you'll probably get an answer. The link is near the top of the gecko page.
