mine never made it out of the shower entirely before i just started putting them in a container with a screen top. didn't want to have to worry about smashing one when i walked in!

Out of all of the animals that I shower (various species as well), that is the ONLY one that bothers to try & run off. He never leaves the shower area though...

2 out of my 3 henks HATE to be showered, it takes forever to put them back in the plants and get them to sit still, they dont seem to realize the good thing im trying to do for them. so unappreciative, just like lil kids. haha. well, i guess they show me their appreciation by giving me eggs, so i cant really complain. usually they're unable to make it up the walls of the tub though, so they just do the best to get out of the way of the spray. my one good female though absolutely loves showers, sits and drinks the whooooole time. she's such a good girl!

Which brins up a question in my mind...if they like the shower, how long should you leave them in? Id be really concerned that my guys would run around a bit...I mean just spraying their homes, and they don't like that much either..always run away...except my female Mossy...she doesn't mind I don't think...I just can't see them staying put for very long in the shower

Most of the time if they are going to escape its in the first few minutes in there. They have a terrible time climbing anything wet which is another reason to make sure the water is on before putting them in. The reason you see escapee traits 99% of the time is because its not being done correctly. No one likes being sprayed in the face - and these are no exception. Set them on a plant that is wet, but isnt being sprayed at all, and they will move accordingly to what they like. Dry shower curtains are asking for disaster

I leave them in the water 30 minutes and 30 minutes in there after the water is off.
