how do i make a spot in a pool for my gator to get out of the water

i have a 18in deep pool that i am putting my 3 foot gator in and i needed help on how to make a spot for him to get out of the water i have a baby one too but he live's in a 55 gal fish tank

I can offer you the idea I have for my pool when that time comes, but if you locate a landcaping supply place in your area, you can pick up a bundle of landscaping slate pretty cheap, and use that, along with some sort of aquarium safe concrete for sandwiching them together, and build some sort of stepping structure.

Make sure that you check all your supplies b4 purchase and make sure they are safe for your gator and his enviroment.

I have also heard of people using logs, but they would eventuall deteroiate and would not be as stable I would think, I chose slate cause it comes in large pieces that are not very thick, so a gator will be able to manuver on them easily, just watch out for the really sharp sections, a hammer will dull those.
